Beautiful Illusion is the second EP from Sydney indie band Goodmonster. It features two previously released singles (Company Man and Live The Dream) as well as three new tracks: upbeat indie rocker I’m The One and sweet RnB chiller This Is Our Eternity (both as heard on the latest season of hit reality TV show Farmer Wants A Wife) and an acoustic cover of Gentle On My Mind.

Goodmonster will celebrate the release of Beautiful Illusion with a live performance at Cronulla RSL on June 23, 2023 for the Headline Acts band competition.

Goodmonster is a Sydney-wide band. Members hail from as far west as Blacktown, from Cronulla to the south and Brooklyn in the north, and converge on Newtown like a swarm of angry bees to write, rehearse and record at their headquarters, Mixed Signal Studios. They’ve had a big 2023: multiple tracks on the latest season of Farmer Wants A Wife (I’m The One, This Is Our Eternity and 2021 release Whatever This Is), writeups from Milky and Scenestr, multiple playlist inclusions on Spotify and appreciative crowds at their energetic, dance- and singalong-heavy live shows at The Great Club, Petersham Bowlo and Moshpit.
